Ingredients (for 4 people)
500gr delicious large shrimp
200gr chicken chipo sausage
500g Italian pasta
75gr milk cream
20g Parmasan cheese
20gr Cajun flour 20gr unsalted butter
A little tomato paste, basil leaves, dried or fresh basil
How to make
1. Prepare the Shrimp: Peel and devein the shrimp, removing the dark vein along their backs. Rinse the shrimp thoroughly. Season the shrimp with 1/2 teaspoon of salt and pepper, tossing to coat evenly.
2. Cook the Shrimp: Heat a pan over medium heat and add the butter until melted. Add the seasoned shrimp to the pan and sauté quickly for about 5 minutes. Remove the cooked shrimp from the pan and set aside.
3. Cook the Pasta: Bring a pot of water to a boil. Once boiling, turn off the heat, cover the pot, and let the pasta sit in the hot water for 5 minutes to soften. Drain the pasta thoroughly.
4. Prepare the Sauce and Combine Ingredients: Pour the prepared tomato sauce into a large pan. Add the cooked pasta, cooked shrimp, and sliced sausages to the pan. Stir-fry the mixture for about 5 minutes. Add the heavy cream and Cajun seasoning to the pan.
5. Serve and Enjoy: Turn off the heat and transfer the pasta dish to a serving plate. Serve immediately while hot. For an optional touch of richness, sprinkle grated or shredded Parmesan cheese over the pasta.
